How to delete your data
Plada, Corp. — Data deletion instructions
When a business connects a WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook Messenger account to Plada, we store the connection (account identifiers and an encrypted access token) so our assistant can send and receive messages on that business's behalf. You can have this data deleted at any time using either method below.
Option 1 — Disconnect from the dashboard
Sign in to your Plada dashboard, go to Automations → Connected Accounts, find the account you want to remove and click Disconnect. This immediately deletes the connection record and its encrypted access tokens from our systems.
Option 2 — Email us
Send a request to [email protected] from the email associated with your account, telling us which account (WhatsApp number, Instagram handle, or Facebook Page) you want deleted. We process deletion requests within 30 days and email you a confirmation.
What gets deleted
The connected-account record — account identifiers (phone number ID, Instagram account ID, Page ID) and the encrypted access tokens you authorized when connecting.
What is not deleted here
Conversation history and customer records belong to the business (the Plada tenant) that operates the account, and are governed by that business's own data retention policy. To request deletion of those records, contact that business directly, or email us and we will route your request.
